Alumni

Futures for Children is starting an Alumni Association and we want to invite you to join.

What's in it for you?

  • Make connections that can open new doors. For a small investment of time, you will gain access to old and new friends. There are many FFC alumni in the Southwest and around the United States. Get the chance to communicate and share with folks who are leading interesting lives and doing interesting work.
  • Enhance your career through skill development and resource directories. FFC has libraries of job and scholarship opportunities. Alumni have access to these as well as to skill development curricula.
  • Give back to your community. If you have time to become a mentor to a student on the Futures waiting list, that would be fantastic. You know first hand the support and encouragement mentorship can provide. There is also a Mentor Recruitment Fund available to support the annual fee, if you have the interest and time but not enough financial resources just now. Give a student the gift of encouragement from someone who knows the challenges first hand.
  • Become a community volunteer. Futures is always looking for people to work on FFC Program implementation. If you have any interest in this, we would love to talk with you. Check the Careers section as well for current FFC opportunities.
  • Attend special activities and network. The FFC Alumni Association with your guidance will develop and host events in locations where there are groups of interested Futures alumni. Albuquerque, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Santa Fe and Los Angeles are some possible cities. Enjoy the company of fellow alumni and make new friends.
  • Check this alumni page of the FFC website for updates. This will provide a link to communicate and facilitate information sharing. You could list a job opportunity within your organization or look for a job for yourself. Contribute or read articles about current important topics in Indian country.
