Free Glasses for Students

Friday and Saturday November 4 th and 5 th , 2005, at the Futures for Children Learning Center , up to 150 FFC students will be able participate in the Free Glasses for Students program.

Interested students and their families should call their FFC Regional Coordinator to register. Appointments are being made for 75 students per day and will be made by FFC on a first come first serve basis : call 800-545-6843. Students need to bring a prescription that is no more than 6 months old in order to participate.

FFC students will choose from hundreds of stylish new frames (donated by Signature Eyewear). Karl Minzenmayer, owner of Native Vision, will donate the lenses and do the frame fitting on the spot. In about three hours, students will leave looking great in new glasses and able to see better !
